Kelsey received an MA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2021. While working on her MA, she presented at multiple academic conferences including the 2018 and 2021 Annual International Conference for the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS). She also worked for 4+ years as a legal secretary for a family law attorney in Yukon, Oklahoma. While working at the law firm, she was able to learn aspects of the Oklahoma legal system as well as interact with professionals such as school administrators, teachers, psychologists, and law enforcement. Her research interests include human sexuality, specifically atypical sexual behaviors, impulsivity and conduct disorders, trauma and resiliency, and the psychology of grief. Her clinical interests include working with incarcerated adults and juvenile offenders in both clinical and forensic capacities, therapeutic interventions for adults and juveniles who have experienced trauma and providing therapeutic care for individuals who have experienced and/or perpetrated sexual violence.
