Mary Beth received her MS in School Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2011. In the time since she worked as a licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP) in public and private schools in Texas and New York. She spent the last three years of her career as a consultant to schools, specializing in program development, evaluation, and behavioral intervention. Mary Beth’s research interests include connectedness and isolation, specifically amongst individuals with social communication differences such as Autism. Her clinical interests include working with Autistic youth and adults as well as others with unmet social needs through therapeutic intervention in schools and in communities. Mary Beth enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, cooking, reading, and indulging in the foods and arts that Houston offers.
